Etowah County Spring Hiring Fair

On March 20, 2025, the annual Spring Hiring Fair for Etowah County took place at The Venue at Coosa Landing in Gadsden. Over 60 regional employers were present to engage with the county's high school juniors and seniors in the morning, and with the general public in the afternoon. The event attracted 535 high school students seeking part-time positions, summer jobs, or full-time career opportunities for those set to graduate this spring. In the afternoon, more than 130 adult jobseekers participated. The hiring fair was sponsored by East AlabamaWorks, Etowah Chamber, City of Gadsden, and the Gadsden Career Center.
