East AlabamaWorks wrapped up the 2024 Educator Workforce Academy on December 12 with a day dedicated to the Construction and Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics industry sectors. Participants enjoyed a morning tour of logistics at Kronospan in Oxford, followed by a tour and lunch at the BRW (formerly BR Williams) warehousing and distribution facility in Eastaboga. After lunch, the group visited the North Talladega County CTE Construction classroom at Lincoln High School where students learn real-life construction skills by building "tiny homes" and other special projects that are sold to the public.
